Our standard
We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We build our clients' websites to the same target.
What we have built in
- A "Skip to content" link and a logical heading structure on every page.
- Every link, button, menu, filter and form can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and errors are announced to screen readers.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Animations respect your device's "reduce motion" setting.
- Text resizes up to 200% without loss of content, and pages work on phones without sideways scrolling.
- All page content is in the HTML, so it works with screen readers and with JavaScript turned off.
Known limitations
- Portfolio and case study screenshots show other companies' websites as images. The project details are always also given as text.
- Charts in case studies are images with a text description; the same figures are written out in the text beside them.
- Live client websites we link to are maintained by those clients and may not meet the same standard.
