Who we are

Billion Web Studio ("we", "us") is a website development company. We operate billionwebstudio.com and are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@billionwebstudio.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical information needed to run the website.

• Quote and contact forms: your name, email address, company, current website, the services you are interested in, your budget range, your timeline and anything you write in the message field.
• Newsletter: your email address.
• Emails you send us: the contents of your message and your contact details.
• Technical information: like every website, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, and keeps short-term server logs for security and troubleshooting.
• Approximate country: we read your country from your connection so we can show prices in your own currency. We do not store your IP address or country for this purpose. See our Cookie Policy for how the result is kept in your browser.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare your quote and free website audit.
• To deliver the services you hire us for and manage our relationship with you.
• To send the newsletter you signed up for. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep the website secure, prevent spam and fix problems.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We never sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

• Steps before a contract: replying to a quote request you sent.
• Contract: delivering work you have hired us for.
• Consent: the newsletter. You can withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

• Form delivery: a form processing service delivers your submissions to our inbox.
• Hosting: our hosting and content delivery provider serves the website and processes technical information.
• Email: our email provider stores the messages we send and receive.
• Exchange rates: we fetch currency rates from a rates provider. No personal information is sent to it.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client records: for the length of our relationship and as long as tax and accounting laws require afterwards.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Server logs: kept by our hosting provider for a short period, usually days to weeks.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act give you rights over your information. These can include the right to:

• correct information that is wrong,
• ask us to delete it,

Security

The website runs over HTTPS with modern security headers, and form submissions are sent over encrypted connections. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

This website is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
